IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT for all CLENET owners

Dragon Coachworks wishes to take this opportunity to announce that we have succeeded in producing Stainless Steel Supercharger Side Pipes and Tail Pipes for Clenet Automobiles.  These highly polished stainless steel 3-1/2” diameter pipes will never rust like the original Clenet chrome over steel pipes.  They are also twice as thick as the original and any future accidental scratches can be polished out without worry of wearing through the metal.

After over 25 years service, many original side and tail pipes have rusted from the inside out.  Water and dirt accumulate in the inlet tubes and gradually rust through.  The original chrome plate was always thin between the tubes because chrome plating naturally flowed to the nearest magnetic object and little flowed between the tubes so that when the metal started to rust, it would start in these areas first.  There was no cure once they started to rust and up to now, no one made replacement pipes.

Dragon Coachworks is accepting orders at this time.  The price is $1,800 per pair for our polished Stainless Steel Super Charger Side Pipes and $500 per pair for our Tail Pipes plus S&H.

This is how we fabricate our side pipes:

Stainless steel pipes are bent 30 degrees in a mandrel bender

All inlet tubes are precision cut and tack welded in place before final tig welding.

All welds are ground and polished several times until highly polished to shine better than chrome.
